If you have not already done so, connect your iPhone to your computer running iTunes and upgrade to iOS 4.1.
Then, on your iPhone:
1. Tap the 'Settings' icon
2. Select 'Mail, Contacts, Calendars'
3. Select 'Add Account...'
4. Select 'Other'
5. Select 'Add Mail Account'
- Name: (the name you wish to appear in the 'From' field)
- Address: (FULL email address of the mailbox)
- Password: (password for the mailbox)
- Description: (FULL email address of mailbox)
6. Select 'Next' at top-right
Incoming Mail Server
- Host Name: (your domain name)
- User Name: (FULL email address of the mailbox)
- Password: (already filled in)

Outgoing Mail Server
Host Name: (your domain name)
User Name: (FULL email address of the mailbox)
Password: (password for the mailbox)

8. "Cannot Verify Server Identity" message appears.
9. Select 'Details'.
10. Select 'Accept' at top-right
11. iPhone will verify settings for several seconds.
12. Select 'Save' at top-right
The mailbox should now be listed and ready to use on your iPhone! |
