Our built-in web app installer allows you to easily install from over 200 plugin web apps, including WordPress.
To install WordPress on a domain on your HostM hosting account:
Make sure you’ve already added the domain to your HostM hosting account.
Sign in to the Client Lounge.
In the list of hosting accounts, select the cPanel button for the hosting account you wish to host your domain on.
In the left sidebar, select WordPress.
Select the Install button.
Enter the following details:
Choose Domain: (Select your Addon Domain or Subdomain)
An Addon Domain refers to something like example.com where example.com is your actual domain, while a Subdomain refers to something like sub.example.com where example.com is your actual domain.
In Directory: (Leave blank)
Admin Username: (Enter your desired admin username)
Admin Password: (Enter a strong and unique admin password)
Admin Email: (Enter the admin’s email address)
Select the Install button and wait for the process to complete.
Once completed, you will be presented with important links relating to your WordPress installation. Make a note of the URLs shown, and you’re done!
