How to Remove a Site Publisher Website
This tutorial walks you through the steps you can take to remove a website that has been published using the Site Publisher tool in cPanel.
Sign in to the Client Lounge.
In the list of hosting accounts, select the cPanel button for your hosting account.
In the Files category, select File Manager.
In the left column, select site_publisher, then select configurations.
In the right column, select the file ending with
.jsonthat represents the location of your site.For example, if your site’s domain were to be
example.com, you would select the filehome-username-public_html-example.com.jsonSelect Delete in the top toolbar to delete the file that you’ve selected.
In the left column, select public_html, then select example.com, with example.com being the actual domain for your website.
In the right column, select each of the following items if it exists, then select Delete in the top toolbar:
- assets
- COPYRIGHT
- css
- font-awesome
- fonts
- img
- js
- index.html
- LICENSE.txt
- sitemap.xml
