| To modify your nameservers:
1. Login to the Client Lounge via http://my.hostm.com/ using your email address and your Client Lounge password.
2. Click on "My Domains". The list of domain names that you have registered with us is displayed.
3. Click on the "View/Edit" button next to the domain name whose contact records you would like to modify.
4. Under "Nameservers/DNS" section, enter the correct nameservers (e.g. ns1.domain.com and ns2.domain.com). Do not enter the IP addresses of the nameservers.
5. Click on the "Click ONCE to Update This Domain Name" button.
Note: Your updates will be reflected in HostM.com Client Lounge immediately; however, the request is submitted into a queue with the Registry. The Registry updates daily at 5:00am and 5:00pm EST.
You fully control the information related to your domain. You may use your own nameservers and your own facilities to host your domains, as long as your name servers are registered and they have a valid host record.
Please allow up to 48 hours for changes to be effective. While waiting for this to propagate, your website may experience down time. |
