| The .tv domain extension is a country-code top level domain (ccTLD). What this means is that this domain extension has been set aside specifically for the use of a country. The .tv domain was created for the small Pacific-island nation of Tuvalu. The government of Tuvalu has entered into an agreement with the .TV company, who act as the exclusive registry for the ccTLD. Due to this arrangement, .tv domain names are available for registration by anybody, unlike many other ccTLD's, which are restricted to residents and organizations of particular countries.
The .tv top level domain is managed by the .tv Corporation. They can be reached at http://www.tv/ |
