| Please renew domains at least one day prior to the expiration date. Many times the actual time of the registration is the problem, and the status is actually expired as far as the registry is concerned - even though it may still display in your active domain list, it's technically expired.
You will not lose any time or pay for extra days if you renew you domain in advance. It will always add one full year to the expiration date. If you allow your domain to go to the expiration day, you run the risk of the domain expiring - and your website will go down until it's renewed the next day.
If the domain expires today, and the system will not allow you to renew it, you must wait until the next day. It will then be listed on your expired domains page and you can reactivate it.
Please allow 12-48 hours for the registry to update their database. It will take this long for your website and emails to work again. The registry updates at 5:00am and 5:00pm PST daily, and we have no way to make this occur more quickly.
Remember - renew early and avoid any downtime! |
